We have last minute availability this weekend. 3-4 Nights.
Arrive from 2.30pm on Friday 22 April or Saturday 23, to enjoy as much or as little of Norwich as you desire, if we were staying we might have: Picked up dinner from the homemade quality ready meals at Louis Deli on Upper St Giles Street.
Arrive and head straight for the biscuits and Greyseal Coffee left in the kitchen ready.
Retrieve our swimming costumes and nip to Riverside Leisure Centre (a 2 minute walk) for a swim, sauna and steam room session. Leave feeling relaxed and toasty then…
Stroll across Carrow Road to ‘Yellow’s Bar for a post swim early evening drink at Norwich City Football Club.
Pop those ready meals in the oven and pick a DVD. Run the bath and soak…
Eat and chill, lol around with a throw, warm up the hot water bottles, pour a glass of wine. Put the guest controlled heat up if the weather turns nippy!
On Saturday we would rise early and go walking around Whittlingham Broad. In the afternoon drive to Wroxham and Hoveton on The Norfolk Broads before returning to 106 The Malt House to dress for dinner.
We’d have drinks on Bedford Street at Frank’s Bar and then head to B’nou on St Benedict Street (we’d have booked in advance).
On Sunday we’d leave the car in the garage and walk to Norwich Rail Station. Jump on a train to Sheringham. We’d hike the Norfolk Coast Path back to Cromer and reward ourselves with Fish and Chips at No 1 (Galton Blakiston’s), right on the front, overlooking Cromer Pier, before hopping back on the train to Norwich.
Monday would be thoroughly devoted to all things Norwich! Norwich Lanes, Norwich Castle, the two Cathedrals and if we had the energy, a show to finish off the weekend at Norwich Theatre Royal or a film at Cinema City in the Lanes.
