We are a family of four who love food and make no apologises for our references to food on our blogs and Tweets. If we think it may be of use to guests, then we let you know!
Some guests eat in at 106, some eat out all the time, some want a hamper of local food or a supermarket delivery shortly after arrival, some snack out, some like takeaways!
We think Norwich makes a perfect location for a Food Lovers City Break. But don’t take just our word for it, follow the link to Visit Norwich for a little more information.
We list the places we like on our Drinks Dining Out & Local Food page, they range from foodie market stalls, to cafes perfect for coffee or lunch and restaurants for dinner. Do make use of Norwich Market for fresh fruit, vegetables, bread, cheese, cakes.
Take a look at ManiaTart’s website, for homemade ready meals, with easy local collection from Nania’s home on Earlham Road.
Check out Roger Hickman’s restaurant and Richard Bainbridge’s restaurant Benedicts. If you like good pizza try a newer restaurant to Norwich Donnelli’s on Timber Hill. If it’s Fish and Chips you are after, we haven’t ‘yet’ found better in Norwich than The Grosvenor Fish Bar perfectly located in Norwich Lanes. Every place we list is there only because we like them, they aren’t advertising with us, it’s mere personal opinion, which we hope will help guests with part of their stay in Norfolk!
If you fancy the idea of a City Break with us and like the look of Norwich, then nip here to book. We have availability from 22 January, 4 nights until end of March 2016 is £340. We include parking and WIFI.
