Something different in Norwich…

If we nip off for a short break or holiday, we like to find some things to do, to make an informal plan.

Nearer to home in Norfolk, we’ve taken boat trips to Blakeney Point to watch the seals, walked The Peddars Way and taken the train from Sheringham to Holt.

Recently we’ve been hunting around for different things to do in Norwich City, besides The Forum, Sports Park, NCFC, Theatre Royal, Maddermarket Theatre and the Cathedrals, Churches & Pubs.

This is what we’ve come up with:

Cryptic Escapes – 60 Minutes to escape from a locked room ‘Live Escape Game in Norwich’.

Norwich Ghost Walks – Up and running again from April 2016, Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays with ‘the man in black’.

The Canoe Man – Explore the Norfolk Broads National Park by Canoe Kayak or Bike with The Canoe Man.

Norwich City Football Club Tour

East Ruston Old Vicarage Garden – A Stunning Norfolk Garden,  just a mile and a half from the sea, created by Alan Gray and Graham Robeson.

Winbirri Vineyards – Tour and tasting experience lead by master wine maker, including tour of vineyard, wine tasting and history of the vineyard.

The Plantation Garden – A Grade 2 English heritage garden next to Norwich’s Catholic Cathedral. A haven in the centre of Norwich, which also holds events including tours and talks, Vintage Fairs, Sunday Teas, Music in the Garden, also a venue for Wedding Photo’s.

Spa Day in Norwich.

Personal Shopper in the City – House of Fraser, Jarrold’s, John Lewis.

Norfolk has so much to offer, any time of year, and Norwich is a ‘fine’ base!
