Norwich Market.

Anyone who regularly follows us on Facebook or Twitter (thank you if you do, lol!) or reads our blogs will know that we love Norwich Market. As keen travellers get a kick from mooching around markets, particularly for the food opportunities, in other countries and cities.

The market here seems to be attracting a diverse variety of stalls right now, and this can only be good for our guests, giving them the opportunity to ‘live like a local’ and get in under the skin of this lovely Norfolk city.

Brand new are Churros & Chorizo a Spanish Deli & Street Food seller, the reviews look great and we will definitely be heading over for Churros and hopefully Spanish Chocolat a la Taza. Another new one to look out for is Cocina Mia – cooking up Chilean Food and again being well received!

Food Stalls we regularly use are Pickerings Sausage shop, locally made sausages (and other meats) 90-95% meat, our favourite at the moment is Sicilian, and the Norfolk is lovely! The Cheeseman, Fig Bar (Yum) The Norwich Providore (bread) , The Orient Express (for sweet chilli sauce) Little Red roaster (for a caffeine fix) & Mike & Debs & Sons Fruit & Veg (dates are out of this world). A bit of an institution on the market is The Mushypea Stall!

We’ve also discovered & used Mama B’s Brows and our teenage daughter has used Nadia’s Henna Studio for some school holiday art work on her hands!

So, do visit, take a bag and may we suggest doing this at the start of your City Break to top up on good local food for a start!
